Longtail Cargo Electric Bikes: The C18
One model carries this page: the C18 longtail, a 48V 250W cargo bike with a 720Wh battery, an extended bamboo-decked rear rack and a child safety rail.
A longtail stretches the rear of the bike so the load sits behind the rider on a deck, instead of hanging off a short rack. The C18 is the catalogue's longtail: front 26-inch and rear 20-inch wheels (the smaller rear wheel drops the load's center of gravity), a widened heavy-duty rear rack with bamboo deck boards, a child safety rail, an optional front basket and a heavy-duty kickstand for loading. It is sold as a car-replacement for school runs, shopping and light delivery.

Beyond the table: the frame is 6061 alloy with an alloy suspension fork; brakes are Tektro mechanical discs with motor cut-off levers; the drivetrain is Shimano 7-speed with a KMC Z7 chain; the controller is 48V 15A and the display a side-mounted LCD. The battery is specified as 48V 15Ah, i.e. 720Wh — a substantial pack for a 250W system. For a range figure at your working payload, confirm the expected range under load when you inquire.

Longtail or Fat Cargo?
Choose the C18 when the load is people and boxes on paved routes and the buyer story is family transport or urban delivery. Choose the fat-tire cargo builds (B17, B17-C) when the route includes unpaved surfaces or the payload brief is heavier — the B17-C is rated to 200 kg against the C18's 120 kg. Both directions are compared in Cargo Ebikes for Delivery Fleets.
Questions Buyers Ask
Can I order samples first?
Yes — under the factory's published sample policy, spare units can be provided for sampling; the sample fee and courier cost are paid by the buyer. Confirm availability for the models you want when you inquire.
Can the C18 carry child seats?
The model's published description includes a child safety rail on the rear deck. Child-seat compatibility depends on the seat system; name the seat or the use case in your inquiry and we will confirm the deck dimensions and fittings.
How long does production take?
The published lead time is 30–60 days after the advance payment is received, depending on the product category and order quantity. Ask us to confirm the schedule for the exact models in your inquiry.
What certificates do the products carry?
Certificates available upon request. Send your target market in the inquiry and we will confirm which documentation can be provided for the models you are sourcing.
Loading a longtail well is a skill worth one paragraph. Heavy items go low and forward on the deck, against the seat tube, where they disturb the steering least; the child rail is a containment aid, not a substitute for a properly fitted child seat; and the heavy-duty kickstand is part of the loading system — load on the stand, check the balance, then ride. Riders new to longtails should expect the steering to feel calm rather than quick: the lengthened wheelbase that makes the deck possible also makes the bike track straight and unhurried, which is exactly the temperament cargo wants.
