Folding Fat Tire Ebikes
Fat tire bikes that fold for the trunk, the RV garage and the apartment hallway — three true frame-folding models plus two folding-stem builds, from 250W to 750W.
A folding fat tire bike answers a storage problem, not just a riding one: the buyer wants 4-inch tire float and electric assist but lives with a car trunk, a boat locker or a fourth-floor hallway. Three models in this family fold at the frame — the B1, B5 and B3-A, each with dual folding points at the head tube and down tube — and the B20 and B25 add folding stems that drop the bars flat for transport.

B1 — the 250W original
The B1 is the gentle version: a Bafang 250W rear hub, a 48V 12.5Ah battery, no throttle, and a 25 km/h published top speed, with a rear rack and a frame spring behind the saddle. Its product description is explicit about the use case — it folds to fit a car trunk — which makes it the natural rental and leisure model of the group.
B5 — 500W with a removable battery
The B5 steps up to a LAX 500W rear hub and adds a battery mounted by the seat tube that can be removed for charging indoors — the detail apartment buyers ask about first. The dual folding switches (head tube and down tube) are described in the model's own data, as are the folding pedals on its sibling B3-A.
B3-A — 250W with a Samsung-cell battery
The B3-A pairs a 250W rear hub with a Samsung-cell 48V 14.5Ah battery — the largest battery in this folding group — plus hydraulic disc brakes (Jevelo) and folding pedals. If your market prices battery brand as a feature, this is the folding fat model to lead with.
B20 and B25 — folding stems
The B20 (500W) and B25 (750W) keep rigid frames and fold at the stem (FH-03W and FH-05W respectively). They do not pack as small as the frame-folders, but they keep a conventional frame feel and the B25 is the strongest motor in this group.
Questions Buyers Ask
How are the bikes packed?
Complete bikes are shipped 85% assembled in brown cartons; folding models can be packed in their folded state. If you hold a registered patent and authorize the use of your brand, branded cartons can be arranged — raise it in your inquiry.
Can I order samples first?
Yes — under the factory's published sample policy, spare units can be provided for sampling; the sample fee and courier cost are paid by the buyer. Confirm availability for the models you want when you inquire.
How long does production take?
The published lead time is 30–60 days after the advance payment is received, depending on the product category and order quantity. Ask us to confirm the schedule for the exact models in your inquiry.
How small do the folding models pack?
The manufacturer describes the B1 as folding to fit a car trunk and packs folding models in their folded state for shipment. Exact folded dimensions differ by model — ask for the folded dimensions of the model you are sourcing with your inquiry.
